What Happened to my Instagram

What happened to my page

So what I'm assuming you all see is that I currently have 5 photos on my Instagram feed rather than my normal scroll-able page, with lines and lines of colour. People have been messaging me quite a bit asking me what happened....if I just up and decided to delete pictures, if Alfred drinking coffee will no longer exist, or if it's just a glitch in the system so here it is.....I got hacked.

Last week I got alerted from Instagram that I needed to update my security codes so when I did that and finally got back to my page all my pictures were gone, save for the latest 4 that I had posted. I was upset of course, and I wasn't sure how to fix it (I'm still not sure to be completely honest) but I contacted Instagram and am hoping that it will get fixed eventually.

What that means for the Instagram page

I'm assuming you're asking yourself, what does this mean for the page? My plan is to keep doing what I've always done, and that's upload coffee content and keep you up to date on what it is I'm drinking.

If I can't get the page back to it's former glory then I will do my best to build up the content to have it seem as though nothing happened.

I also want to take the time to thank everyone that messaged me to see if everything was alright. I truly appreciate the love for the page and I promise if something huge like this happens again I'll keep you all informed right away.

Cheers,

Alfred Drinking Coffee

Vancouver coffee snob

Instagram is such a trainwreck these days. Lost and banned accounts, dropped engagement, low likes and blocked hashtags. Good luck with restoring it bud.

Stay strong – I lost my account & all of my photos to a hacker last year – took forever (2 months), but I did finally get them back – With so much ‘fake news’ out there I completely rely on your reviews to make my coffee purchasing decisions!

Whoever did this deserves to drink watered down Dunkin Donuts iced “coffee” for the rest of their life.

Whoever did this doesn’t ever deserve to have a good cup of coffee again.
