Starbucks has unveiled the new Juniper Flat White that's being released today in Canada!
It will have the same great woodsy taste of the Juniper Latte but with a little twist. Strong espresso paired with Juniper and Sage to offer a fresh, wintery flavor. Don't be fooled though the flat white is not a carbon copy of the Juniper Latte.
Don't believe me? Well believe science! The Juniper Latte combines rich espresso with a thin layer of foam to allow for a more subtle flavor whereas due to the Ristretto espresso used in the Flat White and the micro-foam you can experience a light, smooth yet bold taste.
Ristretto espresso refers to a "restricted" shot due to the fact that the barista pulls the first portion of the full-length espresso shot, meaning that less water is pulled through the ground beans, giving a sweeter, richer and more full-bodied flavor.
The new Juniper Flat White is meant for coffee drinkers that prefer a more coffee forward taste with a subtle hint of Juniper and Sage.
