Starbucks Coffee is launching a four part limited edition packaged coffee series that will celebrate Starbucks' long standing heritage. How are they celebrating it you ask? By working with different artists and getting them to reinterpret their heritage entirely.
Tristan Eaton, a Los Angeles artist, is up first with the first chapter, Origin. He uses his experiences that were gained by travelling to North Sumatra to interpret the Sumatra coffee's origin in this first chapter. For those of you who haven't tried Starbucks Sumatra coffee (although I highly doubt that you haven't tried it) its a full-bodied coffee, with notes of herbs and an earthy tone, to allow for a rich flavor and a smooth finish.
The Limited edition, 12 oz. bag of Sumatra will only be available at Starbucks for a limited time and while supplies last, so make sure to grab one and start your limited edition collection right.
And While you're there starting your collection, why don't you try the Serious Strawberry Frappuccino (yes, I know it's not coffee, but its delicious and you need to try it). It's made with a strawberry puree, their new reinvented Strawberries and Creme frapppuccino and and topped off with more strawberry puree and vanilla whip cream...it's a lot of strawberry!
