Coffee of the Week: Brooklyn Roasting Bespoke Blend

The Company

The Brooklyn Roasting Company aim to sell superb coffees that they roast in house. They favor Certified Coffees, meaning all fair trade, organic, and Rain Forest Alliance certifications. They are constantly engaging in New York's core culture, whether it is artistic, educational or any other form that inspires them. 

The Coffee

The Bespoke blend is composed of both Guatemalan beans as well as Colombian. The tin that it came in (yes it came in a sealed tin....which I think is rather interesting) was sealed to ensure that the flavor lasted longer. As you open the sealed tin you smell a strong smoky scent that you would only smell from a freshly roasted batch of coffee. Upon brewing, the notes of Malt, Honeysuckle and undertones of rich chocolate integrate in such a way to allow a buttery richness that lasts from initial sip to the last sip. Overall, in my opinion, it had a full body, a smooth lasting flavor and a rich finish.

Rating: Good.
